Altima signs distribution agreement with Midé Technology

Altima Corp. today announced that it has entered into a distribution agreement with Midé Technology of Bedford, Mass. to distribute its vibration energy harvesting products.

"Midé is thrilled to have entered into a distribution agreement with Altima", said Attila Lengyel, Midé's Chief Operations Officer. "Altima's distribution channels in Japan, as well as their value added application engineering services, will help expand the opportunities for our energy harvesting products. Midé is a firm believer that the energy harvesting industry will continue to grow over the coming years as more people add wireless sensor networks to their products and systems. With Altima's collaboration, Midé is committed to providing quality vibrational energy harvesting products to all our current and new customers in Japan."

Midé's Volture piezoelectric energy harvesters will be in stock and available for purchase through Alitma's distribution channels. To complement its energy harvesters, Midé also provides Charge Conditioning Circuitry and the Slam Stick, a portable, rechargeable, easy to use vibration data logger. The Slam Stick helps customers determine if their application is well suited to vibrational energy harvesting.
