The new firm combines Linea's leading research and development capabilities in physiological monitoring with the mass manufacturing, marketing and distribution capabilities of Salutron. The combined capabilities allows the design, production, and distribution of game changing activity and health monitoring devices. One of the firm's primary products, a Universal Medical Device Adapter, is a device with Ethernet, USB, serial, analog, and digital ports as well as transceivers for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth that integrates virtually all of the existing communication protocols used by the medical device industry.
