CaliberMRI, Inc. (DBA QalibreMD) is a startup spun out of the SBIR-involved firm High Precision Devices and structured around commercializing quantitative MRI technology facilitating the development of faster (and more accurate) MRI scans. QalibreMD's standards are intended to provide a baseline for measuring quantitative imaging biomarkers. From the premsie that for MRI results to be of greatest benefit to researchers and patients, the results must be accurate and reproducible - requiring tandardization across MRI sites and vendor scanners is essential for comparing results and improving patient outcomes.QDeveloped collaboratively with the ISMRM, QIBA/RSNA and NIST, the QallibreMD effort is to provide a ground truth baseline for measuring quantitative imaging biomarkers. With a broad range of patented multiparametric parameters traceable to NIST, these standards are intended to deliver rigor and relevance to medical research and patient care.
