Public Profile

As a result of the acquisition of the SBIR-involved firm Multum Information Services in March 1998 by Cerner Corporation (NASDAQ: CERN) the firm was renamed Cerner Multum, Inc. With expanded capabilities, the former SBIR involved firm continues to be a medical information company, providing drug information and tools for consumer homes, physician offices, hospitals, pharmacies, and health Websites. It now offers addVantageRx, a tool that provides clinicians with patient specific drug information at the point of care; Patient Education Leaflets, which contain information about medications; Lexicon, a database that includes drug names, drug product information, disease names and coding systems, generic and brand names, and common abbreviations; and SubscribeRx that provides drug information online. The company also provides VantageRx Database, which delivers clinical content through database tables; and VantageRx SDK, a software development kit.
