Techno-Sciences, Inc., acquired by McMurdo Group in September of 2014, provides search and rescue satellite ground stations, vessel tracking, and maintenance scheduling services. It operates through four divisions: Search and Rescue, Defense Systems, Systems Engineering, and Aerospace Engineering. The Search and Rescue division provides search and rescue satellite ground systems, installation, service, training, and support services, as well as equipment, including mission control centers, local user terminals, rescue coordination systems, and mobile integrated systems. The Defense Systems division offers sensors, turrets, mobile counter fire, helmet-cam surveillance system, navy aviator scheduling system, actuation, and communication technologies. The Systems Engineering division provides engineering services in the areas of signal processing for equipment monitoring and tracking systems, modeling, and control system design. The Aerospace Engineering division provides research and development in aerospace control systems, including rotor control.
