Charles Evans & Associates is now a member of the Evans Analytical Group Network of Laboratories. This entity was formed In April 1999 from the combination of Physical Electronics, Inc., Charles Evans and Associates and HVEE. Charles Evans & Associates is a commercial analytical service laboratory providing surface and microanalytical materials characterization. . The expansion resulted in several sites in the California Silicon Valley, including Surface Science Laboratories (SSL) in Mountain View, all ISO 9001:2000 certified. Following its acquisition by Physical Electronics in 1999, CE&A has consolidated the California labs in Sunnyvale, and is integrating closely with labs around the world to form the Evans Analytical Group (EAG). The firm is committed to continuous improvement in the quality of analysis procedures and measurements. The firm specializes in bulk, and microanalytical services - including SIMS, TOF-SIMS, SEM/FE-SEM, Auger, ESCA, RBS, TXRF and AFM.
