The Chisso Corporation (??????? Chisso kabushiki kaisha) has reorganized itself into the JNC Corporation. JNC Corporation engages in the manufacture and sale of chemical products in Japan. The company provides performance products, which include liquid crystals and peripheral materials, such as liquid crystal, alignment materials, thermosetting materials, and photosensitive materials; electronic components comprising gold bump assembly on LC driver IC, wafer test, solder bump, Cu post solder bump, and RFID solution; and electronics and IT materials consisting of organic electro luminescence and polyimide ink. It also offers consumer-oriented goods comprising fibers and nonwoven fabrics; fertilizers, such as nutricote, release controlled urea fertilizer, IBDU, CDU, and compound fertilizers; high-performance functional films; and plastic products and industrial filters, including cartridge filters, films, sheets, and screen for drying laver. In addition, the company provides chemical products consisting of synthetic resins; life chemicals products that include polylysine, hyaluronic acid, Cellufine, Sanita-Kun, fish scale collagen peptide, synthetic collagen, animal diagnostics, and dermatophyte test strip for laboratory use; and oxo alcohols, solvents, additives for paints and adhesives, plasticizers for PVC paste products, synthetic organic materials, aroma chemicals, polyvinyl formal resins, silane coupling agent, and reactive silicone. Further, it licenses its technologies, including PVC process, VCM removal process, DOP and plasticizer process, and gas phase PP process. The company was formerly known as Chisso Corporation and changed its name to JNC Corporation in April 2011. JNC Corporation was founded in 1906 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
