Using a custom-modified version of its cool-white RadiantFlex(TM) product, PhosphorTech has been able to achieve 432 lumen/Watt(rad)in a "remote" configuration mode without adding any filters or reflectors. This record-breaking efficacy was achieved with CCT=5410, CRI=70, and CIE (x=0.3351, y=0.3691).

A 450nm blue LED with a 50% power (Watt(rad)/Watt) conversion efficiency will yield an overall luminous efficacy of 216 lumen/watt using this prototype RadiantFlex phosphor product. PhosphorTech is currently looking for LED partners able to supply packaged blue LEDs with >50% external conversion efficiency. PhosphorTech will assemble the white LED device and return to the LED partner for independent verification and testing. If interested, please use contact information below.
