NOVA Scientific and ProxiVision GmbH Announce Worldwide
Strategic Partnership

Sturbridge, MA, October 20, 2014 -- NOVA Scientific Incorporated of Sturbridge,
Massachusetts, USA and ProxiVision GmbH of Bensheim, Germany, today announced their
exclusive worldwide strategic partnership to jointly pursue the growing neutron detection and
imaging markets for scientific and security purposes.

NOVA Scientific is a world leader in solid-state based neutron detection technologies,
developing capabilities with agencies of the US Government including the Departments of
Energy, Homeland Security, National Institutes of Health, and the Defense Department. As a
result, NOVA Scientific has created a series of highly efficient detectors for neutron counting
and imaging, suitable for applications in science and homeland security.

ProxiVision is Germany's sole provider of image intensifier technology and a world leader in the
development and production of specialty cameras for applications in science and defense.
Further, ProxiVision is proud to be chosen as a reliable ISO-9001 certified key supplier by
various high-technology and defense companies.

The two partners are now marketing a variety of jointly developed vacuum sealed neutron
detection modules for radiographic imaging, neutron beam profiling and reactor leak detection.
These innovative products will utilize readout technologies which can be tailored to the needs of
various applications as well as advanced data acquisition and signal processing software.

Applications can be found in many areas such as materials inspection, neutron diffraction,
aircraft structures, oil-well logging, protein crystallography, and nuclear material security.
