Wilder Systems LLC, spun out of the University of Texas Austin, develops robotics for aircraft manufacturers. The robotics consists of semi-manual tools, right sized automation, monument robots aimed at reducing labor time and costs, improving productivity, quality, and ergonomics. The company's mobile, multifunctional solutions are capabilities such as drilling, rivet drill out, upgrading existing manual c-frame riveting machines, aircraft washing, tool cleaning and maintenance, and non-destructive inspection. By developing modular robots, the comapny is able to fulfill these tasks where traditional robots would be unable to due to space or logistical restraints.
