On 8th April 1998, the British firm Ferraris Group acquired the medical products business and certain assets of Warren E. Collins Inc., of Boston, MA, USA, a designer and manufacturer of pulmonary-cardio diagnostic equipment, for US$5 million. The business of Warren E. Collins Inc., has since been renamed Collins Medical Inc. and has been successfully integrated into the Group's Medical Products and Components division.
