UFA Inc provides Air Traffic Control (ATC) through a family of products including the ATCoach® Radar Simulator for Terminal, En Route and Precision Approach; the ATTower® Tower Simulator with ATView 3D Visuals; the ATVoice® Voice Recognition and Response product for automation of simulation execution; and ATRadio® Voice Communications System for air-ground communications, intercom for intra-facility communications, and landline telephony for interfacility communications. Control Tower The firm's simulation technology is delivered to clients in Europe, the United States, and around the world. In the US, clients include the FAA Terminal (STARS) and En Route (URET and ERAM) programs, the US Military, and a number of Colleges and Universities. Clients outside the US include the DFS in Germany, LVNL in the Netherlands, Aeroport de Paris in France, EUROCONTROL, CAA Finland, Airports Authority of India, Airways New Zealand, ATNS South Africa, and CAA Finland and other CAA and ANS organizations. Products support all ATM domains – Tower, Terminal, and En Route as well as Precision Approach Radar – and are applied by customers in a number of ways: * Concept and requirements development through prototyping * Test Tool throughout the ATM system development lifecycle * Embedded performance verification of fielded operational systems * Training of new Controllers through their certification * Familiarization, refresher and emergency training for experienced Controllers * Combined Controller/Pilot training * Airspace/Airport modeling and new procedure evaluation * ATM Research and Development. PA ARNG DTTS: Staff have extensive ATC and aviation experience in the roles of Controllers, Technicians, Trainers, Engineers, Pilots, and Managers. UFA also maintains a facility outside of Washington, DC to support the US FAA and military customers. The firm's wholly owned subsidiary, ATCSIM GmbH, has offices located in Mainz and Kaufbeuren, Germany that provides local support for our European clients. Radar Map : The firm's core competencies include development of complex software architectures, algorithm development including aircraft modeling and navigation; modeling of complex systems including surveillance, weather, and flight data systems; high performance 3D modeling and visualization; software interface engineering; audio/speech processing; and all aspects of customer support and training.
