Public Profile

RAMUS specializes in developing innovative medical devices for treating cardiovascular disease. Addressing the challenge of improving the patency, or tendency to remain open, of small-diameter vascular grafts, The firm's initial product, Rapidgraft , is a small-diameter vascular graft that combines the proven technology of intravascular stents with the biological superiority of autologous tissue. Rapidgraft allows surgeons to construct autologous tissue grafts from non-vascular tissue with a set of concentric, mating nitinol stents which clamp a regular sheet of tissue into a cylindrical conduit.
