Public Profile

Lymba is a software firm that has established a line of solutions and products based on state-of-the-art natural language processing (NLP) technology. Lymba has participated in numerous government sponsored R&D programs in order to develop world-class technology now packaged as a commercial product, the K-Platform. The Knowledge Platform (K-Platform) is Lymba's complete solution for transforming customer data into actionable knowledge. The K-Platform is a complete semantic processing suite of products that allows customers to organize, analyze, and query their documents in order to discover facts, trends, opinions, topics, and more. The product enables advanced applications like semantic search, ontology building, question answering, sentiment analysis, and more. The K-Platform can take as input a heterogeneous collection of documents such as websites, PDF documents, blogs, tweets, Word documents, news articles, and more. The user of the K-Platform then has the choice to process their custom collection up through three different levels of natural language processing, each enabling more advanced K-Platform applications. Enterprise search is becoming an extremely large and important part of any business in the 21st century, playing a huge role in businesses as diverse as e-commerce, e-discovery, business intelligence, medical, security, media and entertainment, and information management. Enterprise search is enabling the creation of new business models, new lines of business, and the realization of more accessible, relevant information at substantially reduced costs. Lymba has developed a system, PowerAnswer, which allows users to pose questions in natural language. PowerAnswer, when given a collection of unstructured information such as documents, spreadsheets, presentations, PDF files and web pages, then searches through and returns direct answers and information instead of a list of documents where needed information might be found. It can be used over general content or tailored to a specific domain, such as healthcare, CRM, or Law Enforcement.
