Founded, by a PhD in Thermosciences from Stanford University, Lumina Labs develops laser-based, non-invasive, species specific breathalyzers for the management and diagnosis of emergency medical conditions. The PI is a Design Engineer at Apple whose background involves in vivo medical imaging techniques, machine learning as it applies to medical imaging and genetic challenges, and quantitative laser-based imaging techniques to study fluid mechanics and combustion in hypersonic flows for advanced aerospace propulsion systems.
