Now doing business as the Astronautics Engineering Unit of Titan Corporation, LinCom was acquired by Titan in January 2000. The firm is a high-technology software applications design and development consulting company, providing cost-effective and state-of-the-art software and/or hardware solutions. The focus of LinCom's business is to architect and design digital telecommunication systems and related hardware and software products to support these systems as well as the development and application of innovative software technologies. LinCom has been a key participant in important government programs -- Milstar, the Space Shuttle, and the Space Station. LinCom's commercial projects include creating satellite-based and ground-based personal communication systems, building wireless communication products, and authoring expert system software for a wide array of WindowsTM and UNIX based applications.
