Public Profile

In September 2014, Lift was acquired by Google. Originally doing business as Lynx Design, Lift Labs is focused to development of a new class of assistive devices for the elderly and individuals with motion disorders. The firm's first product was an active tremor cancellation technology that will assist individuals affected by motion disorders such as Essential Tremor and Parkinson's Disease. The system will facilitate daily living, reduce social isolation, and re-enable the affected public to participate in activities/occupations that were lost upon disease onset.
