Early SBIR involved and having a steady and confinuing presence, the Leiden Measurement Technology LLC (LMT) team offers navigational, measuring, electromedical, and control instruments. The company's PI has extensive experience developing novel spectroscopic instruments and microfluidic platforms in various form-factors and deployed them in extreme environments such as the South Pole, Greenland, and Alaska. He also has designed and constructined highly-sensitive fluorescence spectrometers tuned to detect minerals, proteins, and other biosignatures in form-factors ranging from borehole loggers to flow-cell instruments. Leiden Measurement is developing this sort of technology for potential use in outer space environments, including in tests for potential extraterrestrial life.
