Legov Systems Group LLC is structured around enabling the wireless future by providing scalable power system solutions using smart materials for energy harvesting. The firm is developing fast-acting SMA actuators as a key part of the firm's thermal energy harvesting system with the effort being to recover substantially more power from low-grade waste heat than competing technologies. If successful, this could reduce operating costs, reduce energy demands, and improved sustainability for targeted users. The latter c/would include those utilizing combined heat and power (CHP) installations and particularly those industrial facilities inetrseted in recovering some of the low-grade waste heat their facilities currently generate.
