These advanced miniature sensing and imaging devices are utilized for commercial, medical and military applications. The firmâs efforts have been focused on the development of miniature volumetric (3D) ultrasound imagers, based on the fabrication of high-quality âTwo Dimensional-Ultrasound Phase Array Transducersâ (2D-UPAT) and their integration with the driving electronics to achieve real-time tomographic imaging. The successful development of the 2D-UPAT based miniature cost-effective imager prototypes for medical and nonmedical tomographic diagnostic imaging, demonstrated excellent milestone results when tested on medical phantoms and are ready for commercialization.
