Public Profile

LCM Technologies is developing bio-analytical products with focus to development of two product lines based on capillary electrophoresis with laser-induced fluorescence detection and mass spectrometric analysis: 1) Instrumentation for protein profiling and analysis of individual proteins in complex samples using capillary and micro-fluidic chip electrophoresis, and 2) Genetic analysis using a novel capillary electrophoresis method that offers increased speed and sensitivity at lower cost than current methods. The firm's strength is in R&D of novel or improved products with expertise in capillary electrophoresis, laser-induced fluorescence, and mass spectrometry. LCM has the capability to produce customized fluorescence detection apparatus, micro-fabricated electrophoresis chips using silica substrate, surface coatings chemically bonded to silica substrate, entangled linear polymers for capillary sieving matrices, and attaching DNA fragments and oligos to latex surfaces.
