Public Profile

A small launch vehicle company, Launcher Inc is structured around the development of what is described as the world’s most efficient rocket to deliver small satellites to orbit: satellite transfer vehicle and platform. The firm has successfully reruited players well known in the arena and has attracted a very useful amount of VC investment. With a CA facility now operational, Launcher has rapidly expanded the numbe of their employees -- of whom some 50% are in an office in Ukraine to support design and analysis work on its E-2 engine. The company has a technology assistance agreement with the US State Department to allow it to exchange information with that Ukrainian office. In February 2023 it was announced that - to accelerate its own growth and capacity to expand human presence /habitation in space - Vast had acquired Launcher Inc. Interesting to note that the Founder and CEO of Launcher joined as the President of Vast to help execute the company's vision. In this new role, Max Haot now oversees the Orbiter, E-2 and space station programs as well as engineering, manufacturing, marketing, finance, and facilities teams.
