Kultevat is organized around an aggressive program of breeding, crop improvements, and strain selection for industrially relevant dandelion varieties. The firm's crop system serves agricultural markets in a number of ways, primarily by the production of rubber and mixed sugar feedstocks for the production of biofuels. The objective is to deliver natural, environmentally-friendly, green products with a reputation for the highest quality, value, and performance benefits, while surpassing customer, employee and investor expectations. Developing a profitable, sustainable, and environmentally-benign source of rubber, while simultaneously supplying the biofuels industry with a critical feedstock, serve the strategic interests of the U.S., Canada and Europe, and reduce our near-total dependence on foreign sources of rubber whether they be natural, or petroleum-derived. The effort is to build profitable, integrated businesses based upon the cultivation of Russian Dandelion (Taraxacum kok-saghyz or TKS), in which products are brought to market, and in which TKS becomes a leading domestic source of rubber.
