Genetic Vectors, Inc. (OTC: GVEC) was a biotechnology company developing diagnostic and quality control tools for the biotechnology and molecular biology markets. The technology intended to allow biopharmaceutical companies in monitoring the purity. The company owned proprietary rights over the EpiDNA technology for the labeling and detection of nucleic acids, particularly in DNA. The technology was the basis for the company's product line EpiDNA, the Picogram assay and EasyID - technology utilized for the detection of yeasts in the food and beverage and the brewing and wine making industry. The company acquired DNA Sciences, Inc. during January 2000 but was delisted shortly therafter. In October 2001, complet inventory of the firm was auctioned off.
