GaN Corporation (dba "Geeks and Nerds"?) is an employee-owned company with several places of business organized around projects related to Cyber Security, Systems Engineering, Test & Evaluation, Software Engineering, and Information Technology. In May 2021 the firm won a contract with a potential value up to $83 million contract to provide agile prototyping capabilities to the US Army Redstone Test Center (RTC). The Experimental Validation Capabilities Prototype Project (EVCAPP) enhances RTCs support of US Army Futures Command and other DoD key decision-makers. Using EVCAPP, GaN and its team will provide advanced test technology prototypes designed to enable the reliable and rapid transformation of aviation, missiles, and sensors test data into actionable, reliable, and timely test results required to enable the Armys persistent modernization vision. As an Other Transactional Authority (OTA) agreement, the EVCAPP contract is part of the Training and Readiness Accelerator (TREX) consortium run by National Security Technology Accelerator (NSTXL). NSTXL OTAs are underpinned by their innovation platform, supporting government and industry by providing commercial-term contracting, open-source technology discovery, modern-day marketing outreach, a strong interconnected network for easy teaming, and cybersecurity compliance support.
