Eve Biomedical produces high-speed, low-cost, gene sequencing equipment for medical applications. Current gene sequencing solutions require expensive equipment ($100K+) and are expensive per sample ($10K+). Eve can do gene sequencing for $1K/sample on <$10K equipment. The company is developing solutions to enable genomic and personalized medicine. The technology being developed by Eve is based on the work of Eve's founder, Dr. Theofilos Kotseroglou. Dr. Kotseroglou is a pioneer in the fields of lasers, fiber-optics, and genetic analysis using microarrays. He holds five patents and is the author of numerous scientific publications.
