CereVu Medical Inc develops a wearable medical device able to measure and management the amount of pain a patient is experiencing objectively and in real time. This solution aims to assist doctors and nurses by providing real data about patient pain and experience in real time. In addition to pain, the device measures body temperature, blood oxygenation, deoxygenated hemoglobin, hemodynamic response, heart rate, and respiration rate. Through signal processing and algorithms that utilize personalized cerebral hemodynamic information, the device is able to provide a continuous pain score unique to each patient.
