Caerus Molecular Diagnostics Inc is a DNA sequencing company developing an engineered enzyme switch as a “molecular amplifier” to convert the product of a single molecule DNA sequencing reaction into many copies of a reporter molecule that are easily detected. Amplification overcomes the accuracy limitations of existing single-molecule platforms, thereby enabling highly-parallel, low-cost, long read-length, high accuracy DNA sequencing on a scalable platform.
