Public Profile
AudioDontics is developing the always-on, wireless, wearable communication device, the Tooth Phone, which allows humans to communicate without the use of traditional microphone or speaker technology. Using the Tooth Phone, sound is transferred both in and out of a human through bone resonance in teeth, allowing information to be received and sent anywhere, at anytime, in any environment, all without interfering with anyone else. The device is aimed at not only being a cosmetically superior hearing aid, but also a device with better fidelity and output than surgically implanted bone conduction devices. The device can help individuals with single-sided deafness, conductive and mixed conductive hearing loss, and certain kinds of nerve-based hearing loss. The company's founder is the world's leading expert on sound transmission from the teeth and the biomechanics of dental bone conducted sound.
