Asimica Inc is structured around designing novel approaches to improve the efficiency of microbial fermentation, using the firm's innovation of Microbial Stem Cells. Only recently established (2020) the firm has received both competetively-bid federal support, state asistance along with private investments. While the firm is located in Laramie WY, in November 2020 Asimica graduated from 'IndieBio' Accelerator program. The core idea that underpins the company's effort is the Microbial Stem Cell Technology that emerged during the PhD thesis project of the CEO at the University of Wyoming: with the overall effort of the firm underpinned in synthetic biology, genetic engineering of microbes and converting innovative ideas to commercial products
