(Assistive and Rehabilitative Technology Solutions Company), is a start-up company owned and operated by two former members of the faculty of the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, and one owner of a successful rehabilitation technology supplier business. ARTSCO was formed for the purpose of developing and commercializing innovative solutions to problems facing people with disabilities and their caregivers. ARTSCO’s products are targeted for distribution to integrated health delivery networks, and each product has the potential to reduce healthcare costs by increasing the productivity and independence of people with disabilities, decreasing hospitalization and attendant care, and maximizing the efficiency of funds spent on healthcare.
