Alacrity Semiconductors is a company commercializing Versatile Memory, a backwards compatible, ultra-low power, transformative memory product that is plug-and-play capable in existing foundries. Versatile Memory will grant up to 25% increased battery life in mobile and IoT devices, save 40-60% in data center power draw, and is completely CMOS compatible. Versatile Memory also has a tunable memory retention window that can optimize power draw post-manufacturing. Alacrity has manufactured working cells at 28nm with its foundry partner. The firm has exclusive rights to its IP. Alacrity is currently raising Series A round and hope to close in Q3 2015.
