Actasys is a development stage company commercializing the firm's ActaJet technology for sensor cleaning and advance cooling systems. Having already established multiple product development partnerships with leading automotive and tra nsportation companies, the firm is now is backed by prominent automotive and mobility investors. The firm's original innovative technology is a co-development by the Boeing Company and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for use in the aerospace industry. Actasys is now focused to enabling major changes in the tractor trailer market in the US by engaging a related, retrofit technology for Class 8 trucks that will radically affect the industry fuel efficiency standards. In less than one year from concept, Actasys went from an idea to full scale units mounted on real vehicles and tested extensively on road conditions.
