The objective of this Phase I proposal is to research, develop and test a remote radio telemetry control system for individual sprinkler valves at multiple sites throughout an irrigation system. Phase I would encompass the design, fabrication and testing of a telemetry system consisting of a base station programmable control transmitter and at least five (5) controller receivers (to be located at each field valve or sprinkler head to be controlled).
