Benefit: Provide wide-band high-capacity data links that can sustain 100Mbps at 150Nm to share multi-spectral imagery/video (ISAR video/stills, HD FMV, Command and Control, and intelligence data) at the forward edge. Ability to control RF emanations (spatially and spectrally) to satisfy low probability of intercept (LPI) or a low probability of detection (LPD) against threat EW systems and space-based national detection assets. Provide a high level of directionality, power control, LPI/LPD discovery, control plane, and RF tracking. Provide anti-jam null-steering capability to null out multiple jammers (threat jammers and noise sources like taxi-cabs) through digital signal processing in the same antenna quadrant.
