This effort will conduct a feasibility study to employ a noble method to construct a modified Class-E transmitter. The approach will utilize envelope modulation and digital pre-distortion in order to achieve high efficiency of operation while maintaining signal fidelity when employing waveforms incorporating Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) modulation schemes.

Benefit:
The proposed transmitter design will be capable of being employed over a broad range of applications. A single efficient transmitter will be capable of modulating commercial waveforms such as GSM, WiMAX, LTE, as well as military waveforms such as SRW and OFDM modulation of other military waveforms.

Keywords:
WiMAX, WiMAX, OFDM, GSM, transmitter, Digital Pre-Distortion
