Zeger-Abrams Incorporated (ZA) proposes an innovative technique to maintain deep cancellation of cosite JTRS Wideband Networking Waveforms transmitted at UHF as well as legacy waveforms transmitted at VHF and UHF. The technique has minimal impact on the size and weight of ZAs existing adaptive RFI canceller. ZA presents a second proprietary technique to further mitigate cosite RFI by filtering out spurious transmitter products that fall in cosite receiver channels.
Benefit: The implementation of the proposed techniques on military platforms that transmit the JTRS UHF Wideband Networking Waveform, as well as legacy VHF and UHF waveforms, will prevent overload in the cosited VHF and UHF receivers by adaptive interference cancellation, and will further improve receiver sensitivity by a proprietary technique in cosite transmitters.
