Solomon Technologies Inc. produces a hybrid electric drive system that can be modified to to suit all of the requirements of this solicitation. This drive system meets the current system definition in terms of basic technologies and can be sized up to meet the additional power needs. We have already developed relationships with other suppliers who can provide the necessary modifications. The Navy will benefit with increased fuel economy, reduced pollution, easy of maintenance and use, easily reconfigured, autonomous operation, reduced heat and spectral signature,better load carrying capability, better control and more dependable operation.
