The objective of work during Phase I is to develop a prototype to show that a representative sample of source data maintained on a commercial relational database management system can be acquired, objectified, and furnished to a client application for use. Also, to demonstrate that the data transfer can occur over a secured data network. Benefits The problem of determining the readiness and interoperability extends from naval task forces to multi-service and multi-country forces engaged in joint and combined operations. The system that is developed under this project is expected to be of interest to The US Joint Chiefs of Staff and NATO.
