The feasibility of a dynamic real-time radio frequency tag network will be determined as it applies to Navy applications. Using an innovative grid antenna network within a facility, items bearing RF tags can be tracked in dynamic real-time monitoring with the latest state-of-the-art electronic technology. This technical approach integrates three technologies UFH radio communications, distributed antenna systems and computer technology. The RF tags are the size of a small transistor, attached to the items to be tracked. The location of each item can be monitored in real time and is known with high resolution. This solves the problem experienced by the Navy where the RF tags move outside the detectable range and data is lost.
