The specific objective of the Phase I proposal is the demonstration of the feasibility to develop a technology for improved radiation tolerance and performance of LWIR HgCdTe focal plane arrays. In Phase II, we plan to demonstrate and deliver to MDA , radiation hardened 256x256 or larger format arrays of LWIR HgCdTe detectors hybridized to silicon Read Out Integrated Circuits (ROICs).
