Wavetronix currently sells the SmartSensor HD radar detection which is the highest performance above ground detector currently available. However, the count, speed and classification accuracy can be significantlly improved by employing multi-beam radar technology which we have recently developed. Multi-beam radar technology allows multiple radars to be used cost effectively inside a single sensor. This technology was developed by Wavetronix for an intersection stop-bar product that is currently in beta testing and will be released for sale by the end of 2009. By combining our SmartSensor HD technology with multi-beam radar technology we can meet the objectives of this SBIR and create a significantly higher performance detector.
