The feasibility and effectiveness of projecting threat images into X-ray images of air passenger luggage are studied. Technical issues as well as operational concerns are addressed.Anticipated results/potential commerical applications of results:It is expected to show the feasibility of automatically projecting threat images into images of passenger luggage for operator training and monitoring allowing development of retrofit packages for existing screening machines.
