In this program, Micro-Precision Technologies (MPT) will become an Approved Source for National Stock Number (NSN) 5985-01-054-5861, a directional coupler. This effort results from the request of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to improve product availability and increase competition for those NSN parts for the Nuclear Enterprise Support Office (NESO) where sources of supply are scarce. MPT will reverse engineer the directional coupler from the government-provided technical data package and submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) in Phase I and qualify and produce the part in Phase II.

In this program, Micro-Precision Technologies (MPT) will become an Approved Source for National Stock Number (NSN) 5985-01-060-0244, a microwave PIN diode assembly used in high-power limiter applications for the PAVE PAWS program. This effort results from the request of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to improve product availability and increase competition for those NSN parts for the Nuclear Enterprise Support Office (NESO) where sources of supply are scarce. MPT reverse engineered the diode assembly from the government-provided technical data package and submitted a Source Approval Request (SAR) in Phase I and will qualify and produce prototype test parts in Phase II.
