In response to ARMY SBIR topic A20-132, M-Vision is proposing an unmanned robot, called uSMET, which: will adapt its shape to suit the terrain, physical space, and payload; can be carried by as well as carry a soldier; will operate in both on- and off-road environments; and can travel at the speed of a bicycle. This versatile platform can be used in a number of dismounted soldier applications. In Phase I, M-Vision will design and prototype a minimum viable product (MVP) version of uSMET. The MVP will be further enhanced during Phase I Option. Using feedback from end-users and other stakeholders, in Phase II, M-Vision will sequentially revise this MVP, resulting in a series of prototypes that will ultimately result in a full-scale version of the robot that meets the Armyâs specifications in the topic
