In this project, we propose to design, develop and demonstrate a digital touch display that is capable of operating at very low temperatures and has minimal input power requirements. To reach this goal, we will leverage our innovative gate-tunable organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) technologies to develop low-cost, lightweight, high resolution (4K resolution, 6.35 ?m per pixel), low power (<10 mW) consumption OLED displays to have the capability to operate in a wide range of environments and temperatures, for instances, 60 °C to -40 °C for operating and 71 °C to -40 °C for storage. The fabricated OLED displays will be integrated with touch screen interface into 5-inch diagonal screen, capable of displaying common charter set at 18-Font, monochrome, night readable from distance of 2 feet. The final goal is to develop and demonstrate a prototype that can operate by meeting these figures of merit .
