SBIR-STTR Award

This Small Business Innovation Research Phase I project will focus on the development of a 5 µm pitch cryogenic probe card for use in Infrared detector array characterization. The underlying motivating factor stems from a lack of probe cards with small pitches that are structurally stable and offer a high current carrying capability as well as operational in 77K to 300K extreme temperature conditions. Use of the small pitch cryogenic probe card will allow engineers and scientists to better understand the physical, electrical and chemical processes underpinning the operation of devices and sensors.
