New Self Mating Closures must prove compatible with all existing manual and automatic sewing equipment without needle and thread breakage. It must be durable with an extended life cycle. The new product will come in widths from 5/8' to 4 inches. It will neither fray nor peel; it will exhibit color fastness; it will be flame retardant and heat resistant to ironing. It shall also be UV resistant, lint, dirt and mud repellent, and silent.
