This proposal identifies innovative methods for conducting sensor suite performance evaluations. The technical approach includes the development of sensor suite functional requirements which will be used in the evaluation of sensor suite performance. Individual sensors are analyzed and evaluated against these functional requirements to determine their performance characteristics. Analytical methods are then used to predict sensor suite performance in a variety of environmental and electronic warfare environments. Results of the sensor suite performance analysis will be used to develop a modular hardware and software conceptual architecture design which could be used to perform sensor fusion algorithms through state-of-the-art signal processing hardware and software.
