Lumineye builds tactical, man-packable wall-penetrating radar devices to help first-responders identify people and threats through walls. We’ve interviewed over 300 oeprators, commanders and first responders and heard from all of them that they’d “rather eat bullets” than operate and carry existing through-wall sensing systems. SOCOM and the Army Infantry face many of the same situational awareness problems that our existing users face (firefighters, law enforcement and search & rescue). Since first responders have similar needs, use cases and ruggedization requirements, we are confident in our ability to adapt our product to military needs.

The main objective of this project is to increase the MRL and TRL of Lumineye’s existing commercial through-wall sensors and adapt the solution specifically for Special Warfare in Personnel Recovery (PRO) and Humanitarian and Disaster Relief (HADR) missio
